Event Description

Join Burns Science and Technology STEAM certified charter school and Friends of Canaveral in the Run With The Ranger 5k. This fundraiser will benefit Burns Sci Tech's future gymnasium for the public charter school. The gym will double as a hurricane shelter for the community. There will be drawings for giveaways at the end of the race! The course start at Mary Dewees Park. Run or walk through the community down to the National Historic Site Seminole Rest along the lagoon. The race then ends at Mary Dewees Park. There will be a Jr Ranger fun run for the kids with an obstacle course. The University of Central Florida will have some activity table for the kids as well.  After the race join the community in the annual Oak Hill Community Festival.
