Event Description

We at the Black Physicians of Utah are focused on improving the health of our Black Community. In effort to get us fit and to address rising rates of Obesity in our Nation, we have organized our first 5 K Run/Walk. It will be filled with prizes, raffles, music and food for all participants. 

A portion of your registration will go towards the Black Physicians of Utah Scholarship Fund and Community Education fund. 

Packet Pick-up will be from 0800-0900. The race will begin at 0930 at Legacy Park along the parkway trail. The course will be out and back with one water station. 

The 1 mile kids run will occur at 1000. 

The Cookout will begin shortly thereafter

1. Parking is available at Legacy Park but carpooling is encouraged

2. Packet Pick-up Same Day beginning at 0800 and stopping at 0900

3. The race will begin at 0930 and the course will be closed by 1030 am

4. Bring an ID for packet pickup
