Event Description

The 24th annual running of the Santa Barbara Thanksgiving Day 4-Miler is Thursday, Nov. 24. Come out and enjoy the pre-Thanksgiving dinner festivities featuring a unique course that starts along Hollister Avenue heading to Turnpike Road. There's a stretch along the bike path before winding through neighborhood streets to the finish at Thunderbird Park (on Walnut Avenue - just off Hollister Avenue). 

Online registration closes at 6:00am on Thanksgiving Day (or once we reach capacity). Race day packet pickup is Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 24, 7:15am - 8:45am, at Thunderbird Park in Goleta. Please arrive early to avoid a last minute scramble. There will be late registration at the Park prior to the event, but you must get there before 8:30am.

Your BIB number has a RFID Tag attached to it. DO NOT BEND or damage this tag else it might not read when you cross the finish line. Make sure you wear your BIB number facing the front so it is easily visible to the photographers, race timers, and the timing equipment. 

Race starts at 9:05am so arrive early to pick up bib number, visit friends and be ready to go at 9:05am.

Registration fees: $25 thru Sept. 30, $30 thru Oct. 31, $35 thru Nov. 22, $40 for late registration Nov. 23 & 24. 

NOTE: Late registraion and packet pickup will be available Wednesday, Nov. 23, Noon-4:00pm at Hazard's Cyclesport, 110 Anacapa St., Santa Barbara and Thursday morning, Nov. 24, 7:15am - 8:45am at Thunderbird Park. Race starts at 9:05am.

Please register early to take advantage of a lower fee and guarantee a race shirt. Cash or local check only for late registration.

Race day parking is available at the rear/right of the Magnolia Shopping center (please do not park near the entrance of Ralph's as they are open for business) and in the rear parking lot of the Episcopal Church just East of the Walnut/Hollister intersection.
