Event Description

Please join us in showing your support for the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center (WKCAC) on their 1st annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run being held on Saturday November 19th, 2022! 

1 Mile Fun Run: Start at 11am / $30 Registration Fee

5K Run/Walk: Start at 11:15am / $40 Registration Fee

The race will begin and end at Hidden Trail Brewing (2010 E Schulman Avenue). Each participant will receive an event t-shirt as well as one (1) free beer at Hidden Trail on the day of the race as long as your bring your race bib with you! Note: Must be 21 years of age and provide proof of age for beer.

The Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center (WKCAC) is a non-profit organization established to heal the trauma of abuse to children and adults through prevention, support, and services. 

We are a safe, child-friendly setting for children to talk with caring adults. We begin with a forensic interview and facilitate the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) case review process to ensure children and their non-offending family members or guardians are referred to appropriate services. Some children return to the CAC for therapy and other services when needed. There is NO COST to the children and families who receive these services!

WKCAC covers 34 counties and has six stand-alone centers and six mobile units.
