Event Description
The ROC'n Glow Fun Run is a 1.5 mile, untimed, non-competitive, fun event to support Roc Solid Foundation's mission to build hope for every child and family fighting pediatric cancer. Runners start off wearing a white or black shirt and finish the race colored in glow paint/powder. Along the glow course you will find glow zones where runners and walkers will be covered in different color glow powder/paint. Our run is for everyone wanting to show support and have fun doing it. Walk, run, fast, slow, go at your own pace, there is no winner or loser. Join the celebration after the run and make sure to capture all of your glowing memories.
The Fun Run will start at the Western Public Beach Access on Emerald Isle and will end at 77 West. After the fun run, the festivities will continue at 77 West where they'll be raffle items, live music and other ways to support this cause.
Registration for this event is $25 which includes a t-shirt, glow in the dark racing bib and one glow in the dark bracelet/necklace. All children under 5 are free and will receive one glow in the dark bracelet/necklace while supplies last.
All participants who register after 10/10 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. Online registration will remain open until one week before the event(10/22).
Registration on-site will be $30 and will include a racing bib and one glow in the dark bracelet/necklace while supplies last.
