Event Description

Key West Ride/Escape to the Keys! Join us for this fun cycling adventure through the Florida Keys! We meet at the famous Robert Is Here Fruit Stand in Homestead, where we can enjoy some fresh fruits and pick up snacks before beginning our ride south to the Florida Keys! Overnight parking is allowed at the starting point. Day 1 is an 80 mile ride south over the Card Sound Bridge, into Key Largo and south to Marathon, where our overnight stay will be at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. Hotel link for group discount will be provided upon completion of registration for the ride.  We will lunch by the Tiki Hut and pool at the Fairfield. Dinner is on your own. Day 2 will have us cross the famous 7 mile bridge as we head towards Key West..about 40 miles. Our rest stop will be at Baby's Coffee, and then onto Stock Island, where we will gather and wait for our police escorts into town. Lunch will be at Dante's Pool Bar and Restaurant. Later, we head to our host hotels, whixh will be confirmed soon.  Our luggage truck will be waiting there for us, so we can shower, change and head out for the night in the hotel shuttles to downtown Key West. The rest is all up to you! Bus transport will be provided back to Miami with bike transport on the luggage truck.

What to Bring: Recently Tuned Up Bicycle, Helmets (mandatory), lights, extra tubes, CO2's, and bicycle tools. Change of clothing and swim wear (if you dare!)

Arrival Info: please arrive to the start point by 7am for a 7:30am kick off. You will have time to purchase goodies at Robert Is Here and put your luggage on the truck. Please only 1 luggage item per person.

Overnight Parking is available at Robert Is Here.

Course Info: We ride south! Please obey street lights, signs and Florida law.
