What is Parvin Trail Blazers?

Parvin Trail Blazers is an all paces trail running club. Over the course of 8 weeks the club will explore the vast trail network of Parvin State Park and help curious runners grow more comfortable and familiar with the park.

The group runs are completely free and open to anyone regardless of subscription. Schedule TBA.

A $15 subscription includes reminders and updates on the group runs (you choose how you get your updates), access to the clubs Virtual Winter Challenge, and a digital map book. Exclusive add-on packages are available for your subscription as well.

Why?

Trail running can be intimidating - we want to help with that. The point of the weekly group runs is to provide a free opportunity for runners to get out on these trails with the comfort of not being alone and the safety of being guided by someone who knows where you're going. Each group run also corresponds with a race in the Virtual Winter Challenge. The trails of Parvin State Park are very diverse and there is a lot to explore! The selected routes have been hand picked by experienced blazers and the people leading the group run pace groups know the trails.

Virtual Winter Challenge

This is a series of virtual "races" for subscribers only. Each week will bring a new distance to complete, and every distance will have a corresponding route from the digital map book, as well as a corresponding group run at the park. The distance will change every Monday, with the first one opening on January 9, and subscribers will have one week to submit their time to the leaderboard. This challenge is purely for fun and meant to keep runners motivated and connected through the off-season. The group runs are free and are not races.
