Join the pack for Virginia-Highland Summerfest 5K
One of Atlanta's most popular running events, the 5K runs through beautiful Virginia-Highland as a kickoff to Summerfest arts and music festival. Great t-shirts are included as part of the registration as always! The race also includes electronic chip timing and a USA Track & Field Certified Course for Peachtree RR placement. Enjoy a complementary beverage at Summerfest, on us, and thank you for joining us!
Summerfest is the largest fundraiser for the Virginia-Highland Civic Association (VHCA). This organization is completely volunteer-run and relies on donations of folks like you! Proceeds from this event go directly to supporting community efforts of VHCA. Our projects include the renovation of Fire Station 19, removal of paid parking at the commercial node around North Highland and Virginia Ave, management of North Highland Park, coordination with the city on neighborhood priorities as well as spearheading improvements to John Howell Park (which you can learn more about here).
Summerfest 5K 2023 Road Race will take place Saturday, June 10 at 8am. It will feature about 800+ runners winding their way through the streets of Virginia-Highland. A few reasons to sign up:

After the race, join in the fun of Virginia-Highland Summerfest and enjoy your complementary beverage as you browse the artist market and listen to live music. Summerfest is a nonprofit event with all proceeds donated to Virginia-Highland Civic Association. VHCA is 100% volunteer-run.

Event details and schedule
Race Starts: June 10 at 8am @ Lanier Ave / Virginia Ave NE intersection
Line up begins at 7:30am. If you are walking or bringing a stroller, please queue up near the rear so runners can safely do their thing.
Awards: 2023 awards will be given per age group

Active.com registration is your best option. We will also be accepting same day registration but the cost to participate will be higher at that time. Cost increases closer to race-time so register today!
If you do not register by 11:59pm on 5/31, we cannot guarantee your shirt in preferred size will be available.
