DeLeon Springs State Park is hosting DELEON DASH, a 5K Run in the state park! Come run, walk, jog with us through the woods, beside the spring, past the Old Sugar Mill, under the majestic oaks! We are proud to share our mission: to preserve, interpret, and restore our natural and cultural resources. Your support and participation will help us protect our beautiful spring, our history, and the fascinating flora and fauna of Central Florida. We encourage everyone to come out and join us for an invigorating run, followed by your choice of park activities for the whole family!! Enjoy the spring pool, nature trail, wildlife, kayaks, playground, eco-history boat tour, a make-your-own-pancakes experience, visitor center, stand up paddleboards, and more!
ENTRY FEES
3/20 - 5/31 = $25
6/1 - 6/30 = $30
7/1 - 7/31 = $35
8/1 - 8/15 = $40
8/16 - 9/7 = Race Day $45
NO registrations will be accepted the day before or day of the race.
REGISTRATION
Online Pre-Registration ends Friday, August 25.
-By mail to Friends of DeLeon Springs State Park; 601 Ponce DeLeon Blvd; DeLeon Springs, FL 32130. Mail-in registration must be postmarked by Friday, August 18, 2023. Make all checks payable to "Friends of DeLeon Springs State Park".
Pay with PayPal, credit card, check, or cash. Registration is complete when payment is received.

Registration will be capped at 200 entries. Be sure to register soon! There are no refunds.

FOOD/WATER
There will be Water Stops with cups within the race course and at the Finish Line. Post-race refreshments will include healthy snacks and complimentary pancake samples from Old Sugar Mill Pancake House.
PARKING
Parking is available inside the park. Arrive by 7:00am for complementary entrance to the state park.
RACE TIMING
The race will be professionally scored and timed at the start and finish by Hasselmania Productions LLC. The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Results will be posted at the race and then online immediately following the race at www.RaceSmith.com <http://www.RaceSmith.com>
