Event Description

Oscar Kemjika presents The 3rd Annual, 2023 iBE-FiT 5K Invitational! A 3.1 mile run at Van Cortlandt Park’s Course. This event will raise money to provide new iBE-FiT athletic apparel for Fall 2023. In addtion, a combined 47% of the proceeds will help fund programs that benefit The Goodnews to Scholars Fund and The RCCG Tabernacle of Restoration Building Project. The event will be held Saturday, June 3rd at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY. The 5K will kick off at 11:00 a.m. followed by the awards ceremony and special vote of thanks to our sponsors at 1:00pm. Refreshments will be available at the tents by the finish line before and after the race is completed. Join us Saturday June 3rd, 2023 at 11:00am - 3:30pm Van Cortlandt Park Bronx, NY. We'll meet at the Broadway Parade Grounds by the historic Tortoise & Hare Statue. 

The 5K course consists of two loops – the flats and the back hills. The flats section surrounds the Parade Grounds and leads into “Freshman Hill”, a short ascent preceding the challenging climbs of the back hills, followed by a series of “refreshing” downhills before finishing back on the flats. 

Test your strength. Don’t settle. This is not for the faint of heart or quitter types. Prove your mettle. Earn your stripes. Your efforts will not be diminished when you cross the finish. Push foreward for your reward!

All FINISHERS earn a medal. T-shirts are optional upon registration.
