Event Description

Join us on August 11 for the 2nd Annual Reach the Peak Hike-a-Thon at Lassen National Park. Participants will hike the beautiful Lassen Peak trail to raise money for youth camping programs. Create memories, enjoy nature, exercise your body and soul on a beautiful summer's day at one of America's most breathtaking National Parks! 

This fundraiser will benefit Lassen Park Foundation and its programs including the Youth Camping Program for underserved youth at Lassen Volcanic National Park.

The hike is 5-miles round trip and is moderate to strenuous. It will take approximately 3-4 hours to complete. We will have a fueling station at the trailhead with water and snacks to take with you on the trail (there will not be aid stations along the route). We ask that hikers please bring their own hydration bottle/camelback to cut down on waste.
