Event Description

Michael aka "Chip" lived a life full of passion and perseverance. Whether it was fishing at every river he came across, snowboarding with his buds, going on hikes, or riding on his quad, he lived true to himself. Curious about the world, Michael strived to learn about various interests. He never limited himself and always accomplished his dreams. Some of his many including excelling at his new job and buying a house with his girlfriend, Sofia. He saw people for who they were and treated everyone with kindness and humility. He loved all animals especially his boxer doggos. He was a caring son and enjoyed spending time with his parents Stacey & Brett.

Michael's unconditional love transcends this universe. His legacy will live on through us & with us. We are raising funds to make a difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. Giving to the Epilepsy Foundation means you make the world a better , easier, more manageable place for the 3.4+ million people in the U.S. who are living with epilepsy and seizures.

What: 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk

When: Saturday, July 8th at 9:00 AM

Where: Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, 303 Riverside Dr., Peckville, PA 18452

Registration Fees: $20 for walkers, $25 for runners, $30 for day of registrants

T-Shirts: Unisex t-shirts for all participants

Day of Registration/Packet Pick-Up: 7:30 - 8:45 AM

Awards: The top overall male and female with receive awards as well as the top two males and females in the below age groups:

0-19

20-29

30-39

40-49

50-59

60-69

70+

The top overall walker will also receive an award.

There will also be raffles and prizes and free refreshments.
