Event Description

Rock it Racing has a trail run for everyone.  Join us for a beautiful 5 Miler, 15K run or 1 Mile Kids' Race on September 16, 2017 at Irvine Regional Park.  The 5 Miler is especially good for first-time trail runners.  The 15K (9.3 miles) is a relatively fast trail course with only a few brief hills and a few technical sections.  Both courses are beautiful and show you the backcountry of Irvine Regional Park. The Kids' 1 Mile Race is a timed out-and-back course on a relatively flat (and uneven) trail.

$5 parking fee payable at park entry gate

RACE SCHEDULE (subject to change)

Check in begins at 7:00 AM

5 Miler AND 15K race start together at 8:00 AM.  There will be two waves:  10 min mile and faster, and slower than 10 min mile.  Waves will be a few minutes apart.

Awards:  9:45 - 10:15AM (subject to change)

PRIZES

Top three overall winners in the 5 Miler and 15K race receive special awards and prizes from Road Runner Sports.

Age group awards 3 deep in the folowing categories for the 5 Miler and 15K:  9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
