Kick off your New Year with a Wild West cycling adventure following along the historic Great Southern Overland Stage Route of 1849.
The Stagecoach Century is hosted in the pristine deserts of east San Diego and Imperial Counties. Located just 80 miles east of San Diego, just off the Interstate 8 Freeway.
Enjoy a hassle-free 100 mile ride with just two stop signs! Flexible course can easily be adjusted to shorter distances for beginner riders Encounter striking vistas from several desert passes along the route. Ideal time of year to ride in the desert of San Diego’s inland empire.
Elevation starts at 373 ft and rises gradually to over 2,600 ft, at its peak, before returning mostly downhill to the Start/Finish in Ocotillo, California.
Exceptionally scenic ride for all skill levels on a light traffic road. Well worth the remote location, please invite your friends to ride with you!.
