About this Event
Run 5k for your life, the zombie apocalypse has begun! As Zombie Survival runners you wear flags on a belt. Protect these flags, they're your "life." Daring runners will be tagged and run this zombie filled course as the undead try to grab tags or eat a brain or two. Can you escape the feeding frenzy? Or are you feeding?! You may register to Run/Walk or to be a Zombie.
Event details and schedule
5k or 1/2 mile walk
- Runners: 5K
- Walkers: Can chose to walk 2 miles or 1 mile. Turn around point will be marked.
What's Included
- FREE Zombie Run T-Shirt for those registed before October 1st!
- Medals for those that run the 5k and finish with at least 1 flag.
- Scare of your life!!!
Race Day Itinerary
- Location: Fort Walton Beach Landing Park (139 Brooks St SE. Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32548)
- Check-in/Late Registration: 6:30 am - 7:00 am at the site or via active.com
- Pre-run/walk annoucemnts: 7:45 am
- Race Start: 8:00 am
Fundraiser
Participation in this 5k Zombie Run will support the Hurlburt Field Air Base, 1 Special Operations Medical Group (1 SOMDG). The medical group medics provides care to over 10,000 active duty members, dependents and retirees.
