Event Description
The first ever Stroller Derby Seattle hits the streets on Sunday, October 8, 2017! Bring your kids, bring your strollers and start your day off running on a scenic 5k course through Marymoor Park along Lake Sammamish. At the finish line awaits fun and active family friendly activities!
All kids under the age of 18 are free!
Stroller Derby Seattle is proud to partner with event beneficiary PEPS, the Program for Early Parent Support. With more than 30 years of experience facilitating community, connections and parent confidence in the early weeks and months of becoming a new parent, PEPS is a vital resource for new mothers and new fathers in the Puget Sound region.

Race Course
Marymoor Park offers stunning views of Lake Sammamish. Our 5k (3.1mi) course is paved and flat, perfect for runners, walkers and of course strollers!

Marymoor Park - start and finish at the Velodrome picnic shelter. Run will continue along the Marymoor Connector Trail to East Lake Sammamish Parkway NE trail and back.

Aid
First aid is available at the race, as well as one water station along the race course
Timing
This will be a fun run and timed but without timing chips. There will be a clock at the finish line and results will be posted within 24 hours of the race.

Directions
King County's Marymoor Park is located in Redmond, WA, 15 miles east of downtown Seattle & 5 miles east of Bellevue, WA. The park is bordered by Lake Sammamish on the south and WA State Route 520 on the north and is between West and East Lake Sammamish Parkways.
Driving
From I-5 in Seattle
- Take either I-90 East or WA SR 520 East
From Seattle via I-90 East
- Take I-90 East toward Bellevue.
- Take Exit #10-A (right lane) to I-405 North - Bellevue.
From I-405 / Eastside
- In Bellevue, take Exit #14 to WA SR 520 East - Redmond.
- Stay on WA 520 East for 5 miles.
- Exit WA 520 at West Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE.
- At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn right.
- Go 1 block to the traffic light at Marymoor Way.
- Turn left into the park.
