Event Description
General Information
Come join us for our 2nd annual 5K run/walk to help support the hungry in South Kitsap. ALL proceeds from this race will go directly to South Kitsap Helpline. Race begins and ends at Orchard Heights Elementary school in the Parkwood neighborhood of Port Orchard. Chip timing will be provided by Peak Performance Timing. The Course is mainly flat and run on Madrona Dr SE loop. Roads will not be closed to traffic, so runners are expected to use the sidewalks and shoulders where possible. Course will be marked and marshals will be at key points for runner safety.
Race capped at 250 participants for 2018, so register early!

Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winners and the first 3 places male and female in 5 year age divisions: (1-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+).
Random prizes will be given out during the Awards Ceremony to runners that are present to win.
Day of Race Schedule
7:30 AM - Packet Pick-up and Day-of Registration begins
8:40 AM - Day-of Registration Closes
9:00 AM - Race Begins
10:15 AM - Awards Ceremony (Random Prizes awarded also)
