Event Description
This event will start and end at the Santa Maria Valley YMCA. Parking will be at the YMCA as well. Parking is free!
We will be holding 5K, 10K and a Kids Dash events.
Please arrive by 8:00am. The opening ceremony will be from 8:15 to 8:45am. The Kids Dash will be held at 8:45am. The 5K will start at 9am (sharp). The 10K will start at 9:30am (sharp). There will be a free after-race party that will be held from 10am to 12 noon (everyone is welcome).
Forty percent of the net proceeds will be donated to the Santa Maria YMCA.

What is included in my registration?
Since the Santa Maria Fitness Series will be held quarterly, we have decided to forego t-shirts and medals. Instead we have lowered the price and passed the savings onto you. Also, 40% of the net proceeds of your registration goes to the Santa Maria Valley YMCA to directly benefit their kid’s fitness programs. So, by attending this event, you are supporting childhood fitness in Santa Maria and the surrounding area.

Will there be daycare during the event?

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Free parking is available at the YMCA. If you are looking to carpool, we recommend that you use our Facebook page to try to find a partner.
What can I bring into the event?
If you are coming by yourself or if everyone in your party will be participanting, we recommend that you bring a gym bag to store anything you won’t be using during the race. Note: there will be overlap between the 5K and the 10K. Make sure you bring a hat and sunscreen.
