Event Description

The Chasing Caterpillars Triathlon is returning to the Sailfish Splash Waterpark in 2018! The event is first class all the way.  The swim is an individual start 250 meter pool swim in the Olympic 50 meter pool of Martin County's new Sailfish Splash Park. Visitors will be able to watch the event from the comfortable bleachers and see the triathletes exit through the transition area to the 11.2 mile bike course on local roads. The four loop bike course gives spectators the chance to cheer on their favorites.  Then through the transition area and onto the run, a 5 kilometer event with a finish through the arches of the Sailfish Splash Park.  The Awards will recognize all for their efforts. The event will draws experienced and beginners alike, all of whom will enjoy the camaraderie and the competition!  Additionally, the Team Challenge is back for clubs that want to participate.  Teams can be set up by having at least 6 people that will be on a team and will wear the team kits at the event.  Team members get special discounts and are first off the blocks for the start of this fun event!
