Event Description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Silveroxx 2017! 

We are in need of course marshals to help us keep racers on course, non-racers off the course, and call in any medical emergencies.  We will take care of training you at the 8:00 volunteer meeting, and we will ride with you to your position. You just need to sign up and meet us at 8:00 near the event registration table.

Some positions will be reachable by vehicle or foot, so be sure to bring a chair if this sounds like your ideal post.  Most positions will be bike access only.  Bikers will need to be able to ride intermediate trails, and have their own bike and helmet.

You will need to bring lunch, plenty of water, snacks, a fully charged cell phone and enough clothes to be comfortable no matter what the weather brings.  Sometimes these events can take longer than expected due to racer injuries or other unforeseen circumstances, please make sure you are prepared for a day in the woods. Extra water is always a good idea.

We will provide you with a lift ticket for the day of the event, and another one that can be used this winter or next summer.
