Event Description

This race is a piece of cake! Get in badass running mode, hit that CERTIFIED 5K or 10K course and when you cross the finish line come into our world of cakes! Devour cakes of all kinds from a multitude of bakeries because calories consumed within 30 minutes of finishing a race don’t count. Fine Print: FDA has neither confirmed or denied the accuracy of how calories are applied after racing

This is a Double Mat Chip timed race with medals for winners in each age and gender group.

Completing the 5K (3.1 mile) course gets you the 2.5" Cake finisher medal.
Completing the 10K (6.2 mile) course gets you the Oversized 3.5” Cake finisher medal (as shown in pic).

In addition, you will receive an attractive High Quality Run For The Cake T-shirt commemorating your achievement and charitable gift. A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS GO TO: Feeding South Florida (Mission: Ending Hunger In South Florida)

Starting and ending at FAU, you’ll run a CERTIFIED 5K or 10K through the beautiful campus in a traffic controlled course.

FAU Campus is located at 777 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 and the event starts from Lot 27. There is a substantial number of parking spots available adjacent to the start line.

Reminders:
Water stations, refreshments AND MORE CAKES THAN YOU’VE EVER SEEN will be provided.
Open to all age groups, but no strollers, please.
Race will take place rain or shine.
Each runner must enter individually.
