Run/Walk to Screen Across America
“Screening young hearts … Saving young lives!”
When? January 27, 2018 at 9 am
Cost: $30 online early registration (There will not be any day of registration)
What is this event? Join us in the inaugural 5k run/walk to raise support and awareness for heart screening events across the USA. Whether you are a competitive runner, ready to run your first 5K, or just looking for a fun, family activity on a beautiful Saturday morning, this is not an event to be missed! All ages and ability levels are welcome.
Support our cause: The Anthony Bates Foundation (ABF) and our trained teams hosts cardiac screenings in 40 states in the US and we support screenings in 12 countries. Over 500,000 youth have been screened by ABF & our teams, consistently 5% are found to have life threatening heart issues. Your registration helps support the screening programs, research efforts and raise awareness for heart screens for teens & families in the communities served and supported by ABF. Be a part of our mission in saving young lives!
What Do You Get? The first 500 participants will receive a custom medal, T-Shirt, wristband and running bib. Live racers will get a goodie bag from our sponsors.

Event location: Paradise Valley High School, start and finish of race on football field, 3950 E. Bell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85032. See map for location details.
Entrance / Parking: Use the 40th street lot for entrance and parking. Additional parking on Bell and 38th Street.
On Your Own option: Can’t make the date? Choose your own day/time to Run Your Race. Run/Walk/Exercise/Work on your own, or with a group in your area. Reporting your time is optional! Break up your activity into 2 or 3 outings—whenever it works for you—everyone gets a runner’s packet! International and Canada participants also welcome (Select your correct option)! (On Your Own race packets will ship the week of the race when the shirts arrive.)

1/26/18 Registration Closes promptly at 10 pm. There will not be any day of race registration.
