Event Description

The 5th Annual Run Against Type 1 Diabetes

Come and join us to support some really great kids here in the Gila Valley who are winning the struggle against Type 1 Diabetes. This event is hosted by the Gila Valley Diabetes Coalition and MGRMC Foundation.

We will have a 1 mile fun run at 8:00AM and a chip timed 5K race starting at 8:30AM.

There will be Rock and Roll Music all along the course, and medals for the winners. We invite you to dress up in your favorite rock star costume and come participate in the best local run of the year.  All money raised stays here in our community and goes directly towards the cost of sending kids to diabetes camp this summer.

Please register before Februray 14th to receive a T-Shirt. Don't want to participate? Just buy a T-shirt to contribute!

Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-Up 02/23/2018 (includes t-shirt, map, bib etc.) @ 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Mount Graham Regional Medical Center in the Boardroom (across from Gift Shop).

We will also offer registration on the 23rd and 24th for people who would like to pay cash or by check. T-Shirts will NOT be included. If you'd like to pay cash of by check before these dates please contact mbrehm@mtgraham.org.

Award Ceremony

Please join us at the Award Ceremony after the Event

Ages categories are:

0-11

12-19

20-35

36-45

46-55

56-65

66 and over

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each of these age categories for male and females participants.
