THE STORY:

Team (C•A•T•S) is a group of athletes training to run the Los Angeles Marathon 2018 and raise awareness and funding for Center of Assault Treatment Services (C•A•T•S), a part of Dignity Health Northridge Hospital.

We are training and conditioning our bodies to empower those who have been stripped of their own dignity as Victims of Violence.

We are here to Break the Silence and Stop the Abuse!

Commemorating 20+ years of service since 1997, C∙A∙T∙S has provided critical services to more than 14,607 victims of sexual and domestic abuse and assault, assisted law enforcement with evidence collection and coordinated referrals to our partner agency for counseling and additional services to both victims and their loved ones.

C∙A∙T∙S is the only member of the 24/7 Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) program in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys with an expert team of professionals that can provide specialized forensic interviews and medical examinations.

On behalf of the victims we serve, please consider placing a donation to our Team of charity athletes. Your support will make you an integral part of our ability to achieve “Victory for Victims of Abuse” and to make our communities safer for all of us. Together we CAN provide the critical help needed for victims to help them recover and justice to be served
