Description
At the Y, swimming is a life skill. Our swim lessons prepare kids of all ages to stay safe and have fun in the water, building strong swimmers and confident kids.
In the preschool swim program, swimmers will develop personal water safety and basic swimming skills. As the swimmers progresses, strokes are introduced and techniques begin to be refined using an age-appropriate approach.
Help us keep our pools clean! We ask all participants to please shower before entering the pool. Thank you!
Request for refunds/credits must be submitted at least 1 business day prior to the class or event and will not be granted if submitted on or after the start of a class or event. A full credit or refund (at the member's choice) will be issued if a class is cancelled by the Westchester Family YMCA (pool closure, staffing issues, etc.) no credits or refunds will be issued due to absences from missed classes. Credits and refunds are not approved at the time of the request. They must be approved by the program director and the business office. Members will be notified within 3 business days whether approved or denied. Both credit and refund requests can take up to 3 weeks to process. Refund checks will be mailed within 3 weeks of department approval. All refunds and credits are subject to a $10.00 service charge for each class.
