ANNOUNCING THE 3RD ANNUAL 5K COOKIES & MILK 5K RUN/WALK ON SATURDAY, APRIL 14th!  

Join hundreds of runners, walkers & strollers for a fun filled morning at the 3rd Annual Cookies & Milk 5K Run/Walk at the Scottsdale Sports Complex!  And NEW this year is the inaugural Snickerdoodle Dash addition to our event!  It is a non-competitive 25-50 yard dash for children under 4 years old being held on flat and grassy soccer fields.  

Highlights include Nesquik ice-cold milk, delicious cookies, Sprouts Farmers Market fresh apples, oranges & bananas, barnyard games like corn-hole, hoop-toss and gunny-sack races, custom race t-shirt for all registered runners, place awards for top finishers, music and new custom designed finisher medal for everyone who crosses the finish line!  Plus a FREE Big Surf Waterpark single-day pass for everyone who registers.

EVENT START TIMES:  There are two start times for the Cookies & Milk Run/Walk.  

• Cookies & Milk 5K Race starts promptly at 8:00am
• Snickerdoodle Dash starts promptly at 9:00am (for children 4 years and under only)

Both races are located at the Scottsdale Sports Complex located at 8081 E Princess Drive, Scottsdale AZ 85255 on Saturday, April 14th, 2018.

REGISTRATION DATES & FEES: Register TODAY for lowest pricing starting at $9.99 for the Snickerdoodle Dash, or the Cookies & Milk 5K Run starting at $29.99, or you can register the morning of the event from 6:00am-7:30am at the Scottsdale Sports Complex. The earlier you register, the lower the fees!  Below are the fees for the NEW Snickerdoodle Dash and the Cookies & Milk 5K Run/Walk.

• 5K Run/Walk New Years Resolution Special Registration (November 20 – December 31, 2017) – $29.99
• 5K Run/Walk Regular Registration (January 1 – February 28, 2018) – $34.99
• 5K Run/Walk "You Can Do It!" Registration (March 1 – March 31, 2018) – $39.99
• 5K Run/Walk Late Registration (April 1 – April 13, 2018) – $44.99
• 5K Run/Walk Day of Event Registration (April 14th, 2018, from 6:00am-7:30am) – $50.00

PACKET PICKUP:  You must pickup your event packet on Friday (April 13, 2018), from 12:00pm-8:00pm at Road Runner Sports Scottsdale located at 7077 East Mayo Boulevard, Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Scottsdale Road & 101 Freeway) in order to participate at the Cookies & Milk 5K Run/Walk.  Road Runner Sports is only a couple miles away from the Scottsdale Sports Complex.  Be prepared for amazing Road Runner Sports shoes & clothing discounts while picking up your race bib, t-shirt and race materials!

PARKING:  Free Parking at both Road Runner Sports (event packet pickup venue) & Scottsdale Sports Complex (race venue)

AWARD PRESENTATION: Awards to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers for the top Male & Female finishers, plus awards for the “Most Creative Cookies & Milk Costumes”. Note: The 5K race is a non-timed event. Therefore the top award place finishers will be presented to the first, second and third male & female who cross over the finish line first.  If your goal is to place (1st, 2nd & 3rd place), then make sure to get in the front of the starting line for best placement and opportunity to win.  Good luck!     

POST-RACE CELEBRATION: Vendor Expo, Barnyard Games, Award Presentations & Festivities begin at 8:00am at the Scottsdale Sports Complex

We're excited to announce the inaugural Snickerdoodle Dash addition to our Cookies & Milk 5K Run!  This non-competitive 25-50 yard dash will be held on the flat and grassy fields of the Scottsdale Sports Complex, just feet away from the Cookies & Milk 5K Run course, and is available to children up to four years old.  This Snickerdoodle Dash will begin at 9:00am on race day (Saturday, April 14, 2018) and offers four start waves:

Wave #1 ~ ANIMAL CRACKERS:  37-48 months (50 yard distance course)

Wave #2 ~ GRAHAM CRACKERS: 25-36 months (50 yard distance course).

Wave #3 ~ SUGAR COOKIES: 13-24 months (25 yard distance course)

Wave #4 ~ GINGERBREAD COOKIES: 12 months and younger (25 yard distance course)

The $9.99 Snickerdoodle Dash registration fee includes an official "Snickerdoodle Dash" mini-race numbered bib, finisher medal, snickerdoodle cookies, ice-cold milk and of course all the pictures you can take to create a lasting and fun memory of your little runner’s very first race!  In addition, there are lots of fun barnyard games on the grassy soccer fields to enjoy with your kids.  Parents and grandparents are encouraged to join your little runner on the course to get them over the finishing line.  Cute costumes are encouraged!!!!

What is the day of the event and its location? The Cookies & Milk 5K Run/Walk is on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at the Scottsdale Sports Complex located at 8081 E Princess Drive, Scottsdale Arizona 85255.

Is there free onsite parking available?  Yes, there plenty of available FREE parking spaces for the event on both sides of Princess Drive.  Remember, the park is divided in two by Princess Drive, if one side of the parking lot is full, drive across Princess Drive to the other facility parking lot.

What is the Start Time?  The 5K run/walk starts promptly at 8:00am, with the new Snickerdoodle Kids Dash beginning at 9:00am on Saturday, April 14th, 2018.

What are the registration fees? Price ranges for the 5K run range from $30 to $50 depending on how early you register (includes race shirt, finisher medal, runner bib, free fresh baked cookie, ice cold milk & more!).  The Snickerdoodle Dash race is $9.99 for children under 4 years old.

How do I know that I’m registered?  Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite.com. This email will serve as your confirmation of registration.

What is included in the registration fee?  For the 5K Run runners, each participant’s registration includes a custom finishers shirt (men’s or women’s), finishers medal, race bib and free goodie bag.  For the Snickerdoodle Dash event, participants receive a race bib, finishers medal, cookies & milk.

Can I transfer my registration?  Transfers of registrations are not allowed. 

What is your refund policy?  The Cookies & Milk 5K Run has a no transfer or refund policy.

Is there water & restrooms on the course?  Water stations are at the start/finish lines.  Since the course is in a figure eight, going over the Princess Drive pedestrian bridge, participants will cross over the start/finish line twice.  Both water and restrooms are at both sides of the park.

Is there medical aid provided?  Medical aid is available at the main Scottsdale Sports Complex start and finish line during the event.

Is the race timed?  The Cookies & Milk 5K Run is not a timed race.

Will the race be canceled/postponed due to weather?  The Cookies & Milk 5K Run will be held in rain, wind or shine. 

Is bag check available for the race?  No bag check is offered at the event since the parking is so close to the venue.  We encourage participants to lock belongings out of sight in vehicle since parking is so close to the actual starting line and event expo.

Is the race walker friendly?  Yes, the Cookies & Milk 5K Run is walker friendly.  As a matter of fact, we encourage participants to invite all their walking friends & family to join them at this amazing event.

What are the t-shirt sizes?  Race shirts are available in children’s, women's and men's sizes from small to XXlarge.

When is packet pick up?  Packet pickup is on Friday, April 13th, 2018 from 12pm-8pm at Road Runner Sports Scottsdale located at 7077 East Mayo Boulevard, Phoenix, AZ 85054.  All participants are required to pick up their race packet (running bib, t-shirt, etc) prior to the race. 

Is there an age requirement?  Regarding the children’s Snickerdoodle Dash, all participants must be under 4 years of age.  For the Cookies & Milk 5K Run, everyone is welcome to participate!  Minors need parental supervision and approval to participate. 

Are strollers allowed?  Strollers will be allowed on race day. If you are bringing a stroller, we encourage you to run or walk in the back of all the participants. 

Are you allowed to wear a costumer in the race?  Yes, however, if your costume is questionable or offensive to others, we reserve the right to either have you change into something more appropriate or remove you from the event.

Are dogs or pets allowed on the course?  Sorry, but dogs or pets are not allowed on the course due to safety and health concerns.

May I run as a group?  Group registration is not available for this race, but feel free to bring as many friends & family to run together on the course!

Who does the race benefit?  A portion of the profits from the Cookies & Milk 5K Run will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children as our Title Charity.  Shriners Hospitals for Children provides the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment without regard to race, color, creed, sex or sect, disability, national origin or ability of a patient or family to pay.
