Event Description

Come join us and be a part of the Southern Nevada Law Enforcement - 5th Annual Fallen Heroes 5K Run / 1.5 Mile Walk honoring our fallen and supporting our local law enforcement officers.  This timed event (timer provided, results not recorded) will honor all law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives while protecting and serving our communities.

Let's ensure that our Fallen Heroes and their families are NEVER FORGOTTEN!

Proceeds from this event will directly support the Henderson Police Department Honor Guard Detail which provides ceremonial services related to honoring current and past members of our Department and other ceremonial services as approved, ie. annual services of the Nevada Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Carson City, annual services of the Clark County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, annual services of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C. and funerals for officers killed in the line of duty from any other law enforcement agency within Nevada.  The Henderson Police Department Honor Guard also provides Color Guard services for numerous community events throughout the year at no cost to the public.

Both events will begin at 9:00AM and will start and finish within Cornerstone Park.  The 5K Run course will be a combination of paved and dirt trail and the 1.5 Mile Walk course will be all on paved trail.  Both courses will circle around the 31-acre lake centered in Cornerstone Park.

Registration Includes:  T-Shirt, Commemorative Event Bib and Finisher Medal.  Children ages 6 and under are free, however a T-Shirt, Commemorative Event Bib and Finisher Medal will not be provided.

Online Registration:  Online registration ends March 18th, 2018

Same Day Registration will be available, however fees will be increased by $5.00, only cash will be accepted and T-Shirt size and availability are not guaranteed.

Packet Pick Up:  March 30th, 2018 between 2:00PM - 6:00PM at 145 Panama St. Henderson, NV 89015

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I register on-site the day of the event?  Yes, same day registration opens at 7:00AM and closes at 8:30AM, however fees will be increased by $5.00, only cash will be accepted and T-Shirt size and availability are not guaranteed.

Is the event stroller friendly?  Yes, all participants with strollers must start in the back and there is a small portion of the 5K Run that is on a dirt trail.

Can I bring my dog?  Sorry, but no pets are allowed.
