Event Description
Welcome to the Exygon & Baptist Hospitals Gusher Marathon, Exxpress Mart Half Marathon and Kinsel Ford 5K! Plus, the ExxonMobil Heads or Tails Cycling Time Trial and the Roughneck Strength Competition.
The Gusher is a flat, fast USATF Sanctioned/ Certified, Boston Qualifier course that provides a great opportunity for a new PR. There is a 6 hour course time limit.
Packet Pickup is Friday (11 am to 8 pm) at the Hilton Garden Inn, 3755 Interstate 10 South, Beaumont, TX 77705 (near Tinseltown Theater and Twin Peaks).
OUT OF TOWN GUESTS:
WE OFFER RACE day packet pick up. It is available to anyone living at least one hour away from Jefferson County or coming from out of state.
Someone else may pick up your packet for you as long as they have a copy of your email confirmation.
Flat, fast USATF Sanctioned/ Certified, Boston Qualifying course circles Lamar University and winds through downtown Beaumont for 13.1 miles. Marathoners run 2 loops. 5K route is 3.1 miles around Lamar’s campus.
26.2 and 13.1 start at 7:30AM
5K starts at 8AM.
Plan to be there and parked by no later than 7:00AM as road closures will occur around the course.
Finishers medals for all distances. Free food and drink. Adult beverages for those of age. We also have food vendors selling food to expand your dining choices.

We have a kids' play area for families.
Main age group awards are broken into five year age groups male and female.
Those who have completed 5 consecutive Gusher Marathons (26.2 miles) will receive a belt buckle!
Those who complete 7 consecutive full marathons at this event will earn jacket.
Please contact us before Jan 1st 2018 so we can confirm your finishes and order your item appropriately.
Spectators are welcome to line up anywhere along the course. Bring chairs, umbrellas, etc-anything for your comfort. Food vendors will be selling food and drink.
