Here are the ways you can participate in the annual LI2Day 13.1 Mile Walk

Walkers
When you register to walk and commit to raising funds you give Long Islanders hope as they battle cancer. Form a team, train with a friend or join one of the many LI2Day training walks. Check with your company as they may participate in a Matching Gift program which can help double your fundraising initiative.

• A $75 non-refundable registration fee is used to cover walk expenses enabling 100% of the donations you raise go directly to our beneficiary organizations.
• Walkers commit to fundraising $500 (that’s 20 people donating just $25!)  Refer to our fundraising tab for fundraising tips and inspirational stories.
• If you are signing up with a team - everyone is encouraged to raise their minimum $500 however as a team your fundraising efforts are pooled together.  If you have 5 walkers on the team, then the team needs to raise a total $2,500.

Virtual Walkers
If you can’t walk, but still would like to participate by raising money you can register as a “Virtual Walker.” You will have access to all of the fundraising tools and tips. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE.

Breast Cancer Survivors and Survivors of All Cancers Lunch Only Participant
On Saturday, June 9, 2018, survivors are invited to join LI2DAY walkers for lunch and a celebration of survivorship and closing ceremony at the Smith Point County Park Marina.  The uplifting day culminates with a emotional march across the Smith Point Bridge. Please Note: Parking is at Smith Point County Park ONLY, LI2DAY will provide the only transportation to the Marina for survivors only. Please note that if you are a survivor and participating in the LI2Day 13.1 Mile Walk you do not need to register here.  This is for survivors who are joining us for lunch and the celebration at the Marina. Participants who registered as a Walker need not register for this as well.
