Event Description
The event was formed to complete my Eagle Project. Run through beautiful University of Central Florida campus. The 5k is not an officially timed event. This is a fun 5k run/walk to benefit Orange County Public Schools Homeless Students division. Your Registration Donation will provide food, clothing, bus passes, school supplies and hygiene products for homeless students in the county. This project will help ensure that my fellow classmates have the opportunity to be successful.

University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL
Registration fee: $25.00 (includes merchant fee). Must register on-line. Registration is limited to 800 participants due to size constraints. All runners must sign Waiver. Bib pickup at UCF starting at 7:30 am.
If anyone would like to make a donation other than money, on Race Day, I will be collecting supplies of:
1.) new unopened packages of socks
2.) new unopened packages of underwear
3.) $15 Publix gift card
4.) new hygiene supplies (shave gel, disposable razor, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, powder, lip balm, comb, brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, dental floss, Band-Aids, toe nail clipper, cotton swabs, cotton balls).
5.) gently used, clean youth/small adult clothing (5 years old - 18 years old) - boys and girls - shirts, pants, jackets, hoodies (no used socks or underwear)
All proceeds and donations will be presented at the conclusion of the race.
Restrictions
For safety reasons, bicycles, roller skates, inline skates, and dogs will be prohibited from the race. The use of headphones is discouraged.
Walker Friendly Event
UCF requires that road ways are clear of participants and opened as soon as the race is complete. That is why at least a pace of 16 minutes per mile is set. If the pace isn't maintained, race officials will ask you to move to the sidewalk to re-open the roadways.
Stroller Restrictions
Participants with baby joggers or strollers must start behind designated stroller signage; stroller/jogger operators may not weave through packs of runners, and must always yield the right of way to other runners. Failure to comply will result in being asked to leave the race.
