Event Description

Kid-Powered Sports, the youth-based component of People-Powered Sports™, is presenting a USA Triathlon Splash and Dash three-race series for Central Texas, held at three different venues in Pflugerville. This race series offers area youth the opportunity to participate in multiple swim-run race events through the summer months!

What is a Splash & Dash?
A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming.

The USA Triathlon Youth Splash and Dash Aquathlon Series™ is returning to central Texas and is open to athletes ages 7-15. Unique to Kid-Powered Sports is that we also offer an Under-7 class for our youngest athletes. The focus is on PARTICIPATION rather than competition. The series will expose youth participants to USA Triathlon and the exciting world of multisport!

Also unique to Kid-Powered Sports is that we offer a Rookie class for first-year athletes, open to any USAT age athletes new to the sport. One note is that the Rookie class does NOT have trophies because of the mixed ages.

Note that all participants must have a valid USA Triathlon license. The cost of an annual youth license is $10, and can be obtained at USA Triathlon here.
