About Brady's Bridge

During Brady's stay in the NICU, family and friends put together a benefit to help us financially. "Team Brady" came together and joined us in the fight for his life. We proudly wore our Team Brady t-shirts to every surgery for Brady.

In December of 2011, we were in the hospital with Brady from Dec. 2nd until Dec. 24th.  During that stay at Dell Children's Hospital, we realized it was in both of our hearts to help the other families in the hospital. With a bright 2 ft Christmas Tree in our room that year, we decided that every child should have one that had to be in the hospital during Christmas.

In 2012, we collected donations and were able to deliver 56 Christmas trees, that would fit on a nightstand, to the kids at Dell Children's Hospital during the holidays. Each year that number has increased. With the help of our supporters, we delivered a total of 400 trees in 2017 to 3 hospitals- Dell Children's, McLane Children's and Methodist Children's. This drive begins each year in October.

In 2012, one of the doctors jokingly told us it was time to retire our Team Brady shirts, referring to no more surgeries. We definitely agreed.  We framed that shirt and Brady's Bridge was born.

Our latest project is developing an after-school care program for kids of all abilities, including kids with special needs.  We found that as Brady entered Kindergarten in 2016, there were no programs or daycares that would enroll him. Because of his needs, he required a lower teacher to student ratio than the programs could offer. Looking at the numbers, in order to be competitive and affordable for families, the programs truly had to have higher ratios.  That is why we need the help of our generous followers. Donations given to this fund will help offset some of the day-to-day expenses of running an after-school program, so that we are able to offer affordable after-school care for kids, with a much lower ratio than a traditional facility. This further supports our mission to love and care for kids with special needs and their families.  Because we will enroll all abilities, siblings of kids with special needs may also enroll, allowing for one after-school care program for the entire family.

We want to help families with resources and let them know we care about what they are going through.  Thank you for being a part of caring for these families!  Blessings- Jeremy and Tabitha Fry
