Event Description
The first annual SAP Academy Purple Run on Sunday, March 25 aims to bring the SAP and East Bay communities together to support the Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF). The mission of the Tyler Robinson Foundation, is to strengthen families financially and emotionally as they cope with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis by offsetting out-of-pocket life expenses.
Aligning with the core value of SAP, to help the world run better and improve people’s lives, the SAP Academy was moved into action to support the Foundation and hopes to increase awareness, and more importantly, raise necessary funds for the organisation to help more families. The run, or walk, will be comprised of two laps around the Bishop Ranch complex in the picturesque town of San Ramon.
Join us and together we can #SlayCancerWithDragons

About the Tyler Robinson Foundation
The Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF) helps strengthen families financially and emotionally as they cope with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis by providing grants specifically to offset out-of-pocket expenses. TRF is the non-profit organization of the GRAMMY Award-winning band Imagine Dragons. TRF meets a critical need in communities across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Each year, 1 in 285 children are diagnosed with cancer. While many pediatric cancer organizations focus on growing awareness and support for families with the physical and emotional toll of a diagnosis, the huge financial hardship cancer treatment places on families is rarely discussed. More than 85% of every dollar TRF raises goes right to the families in need.
