Event Description

This is a summer series of three open water swim clinics. You can select only one, or all three clinics.  Clinics are $25 each.

All clinics are USA Triathlon sanctioned clinic and a one-day license or annual membership is required for participation. Because these clinic are taught by USA Triathlon certified coaches you only need to purchase one USAT one-day membership ($15) for all clinics if you are not already a member. If you are already an annual member you will not need to pay for the additional one day membership license.

If you want to do two or three clinics please select that option on the registration list to ensure that you are only charged once for your USAT membership fee.  If you are selecting two clinics you will be asked to choose your dates.  If you register for one and decide later to add another date please contact us and we will add you manually to the additional sessions.

Open water swim clinics are for all levels of ability and are designed to make you more comfortable and confident with your open water swimming skills.   Open water swim clinics focus on swimming skills and getting comfortable in open water. Learn how to sight for course accuracy, get in and out of your wetsuit, drafting, entering and exiting the water. Good for all levels of swimmers or triathletes looking to improve their open water swims. Its a great way to meet new training partners!

All sessions will meet at Cowell Beach in Santa Cruz, unless otherwise noted.  You will receive specific email instructions and directions as well as gear lists before each clinic session.
