Event Description
A family friendly 5K run and 1 mile walk in Schenectady's scenic Central Park. All proceeds go to support the Joan Nicole Prince Home. Age group prizes awarded to runners and photographs snapped along the course and available for viewing on Shutterfly.
The Joan Nicole Prince Home is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable and caring residence for terminally ill patients in need of a home during their final days. Schenectady Community Home, Inc., dba The Joan Nicole Prince Home, which is located in a residential neighborhood in Scotia, NY, provides 24-hour bedside care for two residents at a time who have a prognosis of three months or less. 5K Race starts promptly at 9:00 am and 1 Mile Walk at 9:05
