Course Overview

The course will vary in terrain, but most of the race will be completed on single track technical trails. Both courses will be a loop style course that start and finish at the Jim Bridger Lodge. The courses will be marked with BRC NEON pin flagging, which will correspond to your race bib color.

START TIME: 7:00 AM (for both distances)

The 15K will have approx. 2100 FT of total elevation gain with most of that being within the first 1.5 miles. As you approach Bohart ranch, the 15K route will take a hard right hand turn (this is located at an aid station as well). We will have this intersection well marked and a volunteer will be placed there as well. You will make your way back towards Bridger Bowl as you have a pretty good climb out of the Bohart Ranch area. The finishing 1.5 miles of the race is a steep downhill quad burner until you reach the finish line at the Jim Bridger Lodge.
* The 15K course will be marked with neon pink flags, which correspond to your pink bib color.

The 25K will have approx. 3000 FT of total elevation gain with a major portion of that being within the first 1.5 miles. You will make your way over to Bohart Ranch and continue to make a large loop around Bohart via Loggers Loop. The second major climb for the 25K route is when you make your way out of the Bohart area and back towards Bridger Bowl. Just like the 15K the finishing 1.5 miles is a pretty steep downhill quad burner until you reach the finish line at the Jim Bridger Lodge.
* The 25K course will be marked with neon blue flags, which correspond to your blue bib color.

* Below is the 15K course map. The 25K route will add distance by looping around the Bohart property. The start/finish line is indicated by the red marker.

Aid Stations

There will be 3 aid stations along the 15K route and 4 aid stations along the 25K route. Each aid station will provide water, Gatorade, and Gels (Hammer Gel). The aid stations will be approximately 3-4 miles apart, with varying terrain between them. Please plan your additional hydration needs accordingly.

Drop Bags

There will be a tent for runners to drop any gear bags while they are running. This tent will be located near the start line for runner convenience and your gear bags will be waiting for you at the finish line.

Packet Pick-Up

You may pick your race packet up at Bozeman Running Co. on Friday, July 19th from 10:00AM - 7:00PM
* BRC is located at 126 East Main Street, downtown Bozeman

You may have a family member or friend pick your packet up for you during the packet pick-up hours. There will be last-minute  packet pickup on race day at 6:00AM at the start/finish area.
