Event Description
It is time for the annual Red Dirt Shuffle situated on the beautiful trails on the East side of Lake McMurtry in Stillwater, OK presented by the Cracked Hippies!
Race Description
We have distances for everyone at this family friendly event. This year we will continue to have the half marathon and quarter marathon options, along with a 5K option. We got ya covered!
All races are run on the south red trail with the half marathon running it twice and the 5K will run 3.1 miles of the loop. The trail is 7.6 miles long so we will mark it so it is as close to the true distance for your race even though we know you LOVE bonus miles! :D The red trail isn't that technical but it is a trail so be on the look out for roots and rocks, but mainly enjoy the red dirt.

Awards & Finisher Goodies
Again this year, we will have cool finisher coasters (in a new color) and we are introducing a new fun incentive. If you run the Red Dirt Shuffle four (4) times (starting with last year, 2017), you will receive an awesome holder to display your coasters! Now to talk someone crafty into making those, luckily we have a few years to get those made. We'll invite you to craft night! ;) We will also have awards for the top 3 females and males in each distance, which will be given out once the top three have all finished their respective races.
Race Shirts
This years shirts will come in a new fun color and as soon as we have an image, I will upload it to our Facebook page so make sure you are following us. These will be in the same soft tri-blend cotton shirts as last year. You can register without a shirt if you choose, but why would you do that??? To guarantee a shirt you need to register by September 6th.
Pricing
Race Prices will increase on September 7th so be sure to register prior to that to get the low rate and guarantee a shirt! Race day registration will be available.
5k - $25 thru 9/6/2018, $32.50 starting 9/7/2018
Quarter Marathon - $45 thru 9/6/2018, $52.50 starting 9/7/2018
Half Marathon - $55 thru 9/6/2018, $62.50 starting 9/7/2018
Without a shirt option will be $10 less.
Race Start/Finish Times
Half Marathon will start at 7:30 am with a 4 1/2 hour time limit.
Quarter Marathon will start at 8 am with a 4 hour time limit.
5K will start at 8:30 am with a 2 hour time limit.
Aid Stations
We will have water & gatorade and a variety of foods at the start/finish. The 5K runners will have an unmanned aid station on your route with water and gatorade. The quarter and half marathon runners will get to experience the infamous Meego's Cantina! I hear there will be some Meego's drink specials for you to enjoy and you will get to see the cantina on the front side and the back side. This means the half marathon runners will pass by 4 times and the quarter marathoners will pass by 2 times. Make sure you check out Meego's facebook page and throw him a like, cause we like it when Meego is happy.
Packet Pickup
Race day packet pickup will start at 6:30 am under the pavilion on the East Side, right by the entrance to the red trail.
We are coordinating a packet picket in Tulsa and Stillwater prior to race day. If you are registered, you will get more information via email and we will post information on facebook too.
Timing & Race Results
All races are timed and TATUR will be timing for us once again this year as they always do a fantastic job! Race results will be available race day and will be posted online after the race is complete.
