FAQs

Do I have to participate in all 3 days of events or can I just do 1 or 2 days?

We encourage you to join us for all 3 fun days as we have many great Fat Bike activities planned but it is not required to participate in all events.  The event fee is for all 3 days of activities and no refunds will be given for only participating in some of the events.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You will need to show ID to enjoy the local brew being served at bonfire on Friday and after party on Saturday.  All ages are welcome at event but ID required for alcohol consumption.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Please see website (www.BikeCannonBeach.com) for complete parking outline.  We recommend you ride your bike from your overnight accomodations to start of event as parking is limited in Cannon Beach.  We are suggesting people park across Ecola Creek at Les Shirley park and ride over bridge to start of event at Cannon Beach Elementary School.

Can I register on Day of Event?

Yes, we will take registration on day of event.  Must pay by check or cash and fee will increase to $15.  Day of event registration can be done in person at the following locations:  Friday, April 20, 2018, 10am-6pm Packet pick up & Day of Event registration at Chamber Visitor Center, 207 N Spruce Street, Cannon Beach (corner of 2nd & Spruce). Saturday, April 21, 2018, 9-10:30 AM day of event registration and packet pick up available at Cannon Beach Elementary School (in rear), 268 Beaver Street, Cannon Beach.

What is an OBRA member and why do I have to pay extra to be one?

"The Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) is the official sanctioning body of bicycle racing in Oregon, Southwest Washington and parts of Northern California. We work with race promoters to put on world class events within the region. We sanction road, track, mountain bike, enduro, cyclocross and gran fondo events. OBRA provides the community and framework for successful events. We provide insurance, race equipment, competitions, calendars, training, judging, timing services, marketing, membership services and many other services to make bicycle racing safe, enjoyable and accessible. OBRA sanctions over 390 events and clinics throughout the year."

In order for us to get all the necessary permits and insurance to run a safe & successful bicycle event, we use OBRA as our official sanctioning body.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
