About this Run:
If you are running a fall marathon or just want to do something different, this is the run for you. It's not a "Race, Just a good and exciting Training Run.
The run starts at 218th street & Broadway in upper Manhattan and finishes in lower Manhattan at the north end of Battery Park. Runners will travel through many different neighborhoods and pass many historical sites and landmarks such as the George Washington Bridge in the distance near the 4 mile mark, Riverside Church, Grant's Tomb, Fire Memorial at 100th street & Riverside Drive, many historical apartment buildings along Riverside Drive,72nd street Boat Basin, Intrepid Museum and just before the finish line, the Freedom Tower.
Course:
The course is flat with rolling hills in the beginning and once you enter Riverside Park at 95th street & Riverside Drive for the next 6 plus miles is flat along the Hudson River. For the course map see website finestsports.org
Amenities:
At the start, there will be a designated bus for your belongings. 6 water stops along the course and Gatorade at the last three,Music along the route, Finishline photos & Video, Delicious post run refreshments to greet you when you finish. The goodies for this run is a Tech T-Shirt,16 ounce glass mug and all finishers will receive a custom Die-Cast Medal.
Shuttle Bus:
Buses will leave from in front of 17 Battery Place in lower Manhattan(Finish line area). Boarding 5:15 AM leaving for the start at 6:00 AM SHARP!! (Fee $5:00)
Packet Pickup:

Run Day Pickup:
All runners who did not pick up their running bib and goodies on Saturday will pick up their bib on Sunday morning and when they finish the run, your goodies will be waiting for you. BATHROOMS AT THE START.
Entry Fees:
$70. EARLY BIRD SPECIAL to May 31st
$75. to July 15th
$80. to August 25th
$90. ALL OTHER TIMES.
