Event Description
This is the 6th annual 5k benefitting SNAP, your local community action agency. SNAP is a 501c3 not-for-profit serving Spokane County residents who strive to exit poverty and build a better life. Last year we served more than 40,000 people with energy assistance, small business loans, housing, home repairs and more. All proceeds from this event directly benefit SNAP's mission to provide access and connection to resources that create opportunities, with dignity, for people of low income.
Again, we will be offering a non-timed 1.4 mile (2.25km) option for walkers. The start will be after the start of the 5k and will follow the same route, taking a short cut toward the finish. Participants will receive bibs, but this part of the event will not be chip-timed.
We have family pricing! Find discounted entry fees for families up to 6 - bring out the whole gang for a fun time! We have Kids' sized t-shirts! (not guaranteed if ordered after 6/5).
We will again be offering a Corporate Challenge! Find two or three co-workers and sign up for this fun competition! Teams of 4 (top three finishers to score) will be in the running for some great prize baskets for the top three teams. Include your company name when completing the registration form.
Capes will be available for kids registered to race and on a first-come-first-served basis. We will have an organized Kids Race the Dads (or Moms, or siblings) - Race times will be announced a at a later date.
Race prizes will be offered for top three finishers for men and women! (High school/college athletes might not qualify for prizes due to WIAA/NCAA restrictions.)

online Registration will close at 10am on June 14th. You will be able to register at packet pickup on Saturday or Sunday morning.
Packet Pickup: On Saturday, Kendall Yards Fleet Feet from 10am-2pm. Pick up on Satruday for a chance to win raffle prizes! Also on Sunday morning at the picnic tables near the pavilion at Manito Park. To save time, we highly encourage you to try to pick up your packet on Saturday. Must be present at packet pickup or race day pickup time to receive t-shirt.
Race time will be promptly at 9:00am near the Manito Park Bench Cafe. This is a chipped, timed event, and is a Bloomsday 2019 second seed qualifying race. The 1.4-mile walk will start following the 5k run; please line up at the start line AFTER the start of the run. If you are participating with a stroller, for either the walk or the run, please line up BEHIND the runners without strollers; this is to ensure everyone has a safe and fun race start!
