Event Description

10 MILES
2,000+ VERTICAL GAIN
IN THE FOOTHILLS OF THE BRIDGER MOUNTAINS

COURSE
The course features a scenic loop starting at Sypes Canyon trailhead (get directions) and continuing across private property only accessible on race day.  Great climbs follow as the runners head up Middle Cottonwood after a challenging water crossing, then continue across the Bridgers and down Sypes Canyon. Waterstop at the entrance to Middle Cottonwood and an aid station at the top of Sypes Canyon. Thanks to Hammer Nutrition for providing Heed and Hammer Gels.

THE PERKS
Race registration includes: a technical T-shirt, pre-race packet, a mandatory shuttle to and from the trailhead, and a post-race party with lunch and local beers, along with other refreshments. Raffle prizes!

Awards for the top finishers. Plus, $150 for the winners of the men's and women's races.

THE SCHEDULE
Friday, June 22
12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Race packet pickup at Schnee's in downtown Bozeman (35 East Main).

 Saturday, June 23
7:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Shuttles to race start. Last shuttle for racers leaves the parking lot at 8:30 a.m. (Shuttles are mandatory for runners, spectators, and volunteers. No parking at or near the trailhead/race start.) Please park at the Springhill Sod Farm, corner of Springhill Rd & Sypes Canyon Rd. Map to parking.

9:00 a.m. Race Start

Post race BBQ, drinks, awards, raffle prizes. Rotating shuttles back to the shuttle parking lot.

*No dogs on the course or at the post-race party. Thanks!

SPECTATOR INFO
Spectators must use the shuttle system. Absolutely no parking at the trailhead or along Sypes Canyon Rd. Vans will run from 7:00 a.m. until the end of the event. Park at Springhill Sod Farm, at the intersection of Springhill Rd. and Sypes Canyon Rd.

BBQ. Meal tickets will be available for non-racers. $5 for food only. $10 for food and adult beverage. Purchase your ticket at the food table.

PROCEEDS
All proceeds go to support ski programs at Bridger Ski Foundation, a nonprofit ski club based in Bozeman, MT. 

THE FINE PRINT
All race registration fees are non-refundable and nontransferable. Refunds will not be provided for any reason, including in the event the race is canceled due to weather or acts of nature. Runners must be a minimum of 15 years old on race day to participate.
