Event Description

Welcome to the 2019 Ukiah Triathlon at Lake Mendocino. We are excited to have the triathlon at Lake Mendocino once again this year. With the course remaining the same as 2018, the swim, bike start, bike finish and the entire run will be within the Lake Mendocino Recreation Area. With a single transition area and a bluff top finish with a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding mountains, athletes and spectators alike enjoy the venue. We hope you join us!
Located in picturesque Mendocino County, the Ukiah Triathlon starts with a 1/2 mile open water swim in Lake Mendocino, followed by a 20.5 mile loop bike ride on quiet rural roads adjacent to Lake Mendocino and concludes with a 3.1 mile run (with a few hills) within the Lake Mendocino recreation area. Average race day temperature ranges from a low of 55 F to a high of 89 F. The average water temperature is 72 degrees F.
