Event Description

The Legends of Cross Country course includes smooth, crushed rock and grass.  The course starts and finishes in the grass on the east side of Sunset Park and includes three (3) laps around the pond at Sunset Park..  The finish is flat and fast with great visibility as you approach the finish line.  The fastest 5K times of the year for Las Vegas are most often produced during the Legends of Cross Country.

Packet Pick-up is Friday, August 3, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Red Running Company in the District at Green Valley Ranch, 120 S. Green Valley Pkwy. #144, Henderson, NV  89012. For directions call 702.998.9054.

All entrants receive a custom 22nd Annual Legends of Cross Country t-shirt. 

First 25 male and first 25 female finishers in both 5K races receive custom medals. 

Awards to first and second Overall and first Masters men and women based on composite times.

Age-group medals in seven divisions: Children (0-13), Youth (14-19), Open (20-29), Sub-Masters (30-39), Masters (40-49, Seniors (50-59), Super-Seniors (60 & Over).

Start Times: Open 5K at 6:45 a.m. (early-bird start 6:30 a.m.) Seeded 5K/Team Race 7:30 a.m.
