Event Description

The Surgeon General's Annual 5K Run/Walk is hosted by the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Officers Foundation (PHSCOF). Our mission is to protect, promote and advance the public health of our nation. This event is an opportunity for every American to join our U.S. Surgeon General in fighting against the health issues that plague our country every day: 1) Addiction (Smoking, Opiods, Alcohol, Other Drugs), 2) Mental Illness and 3) Obesity. This event is FREE for all participants, and you can join us at the June 7 event in Dallas, TX or locally at an event hosted by one of our local chapters of the Commissioned Officers Association (COA). Each participant can pick which of the three causes he/she wants to run for during this special event, entrants are limited to 300 so be the first to sign up!
