Event Description
Waller County Park is located at the south end of Santa Maria just north of Skyway Drive. From the Orcutt Expressway you may enter the park via Goodwin Road, or by turning onto Waller Lane, and immediately onto Frontage Road.The Run/Walk for Mental Health takes place a point-to-point course during the peak of Spring. It starts on the north end of Waller Park, starting at area Lakeside Terrace, proceeds on paved terrain alongside the beautiful trees, to the Santa Maria Valley Railroad all access trail behind Hagerman sports complex and back to area Lakeside Terrace,. There are several minor hills and a few curves as the course follows the perimeter of the park. You finish the last half mile with a live band motivating you to cross the finish line. There is partial shade.
