Event Description

The City of Marianna Police Department is proud to announce the 3rd  Annual Marianna Police Department Fly and Ride. The ride will begin and end at the Marianna Municipal Airport and travel through surrounding scenic country roads. The Fly and Ride has three routes to choose from: 18.5 miles, 31.5 miles, and 58.1 miles.

To ensure you receive a t-shirt you must pre-register. Pre-Registration ends MAY 9, 2018!!! If you register the day of the event the cost will be $45.00 and we can't guarantee you a t-shirt in your size. 

If you finish the ride before 3pm you may want to head over to the 7th Annual Marianna Municipal Airport Fly-In (same location as the beginning and end of the ride). This is a FREE family friendly event. Hang out and walk among the war birds and civilian aircraft. There will also be Cobra and Huey Helicopter rides for a fee. There will be great food from local vendors and plenty of arts and crafts. 

Event details and schedule

Upon arrival parking will be at the Marianna Municipal Airport parking lot and surrounding area.

Check-in and Late Registration will begin at 6:00 am CST and end at 7:00 am CST. At check-in, you will be given a course map of your chosen route including written directions and the contact number of support person on your route. During check-in time there will be drinks and snacks availbale to all riders at no cost.

Line-up will begin at 6:20 am CST. Final instruction will be at 6:25 am CST. Then the ride will begin at 7:00 am CST.

A SAG tent will be set up on the 31.5 mile and 60 mile route. At the tent there will be a few multi tools and also snack and drinks and a bathroom facility.

At the end of ride there will be drinks and snacks for the riders. If you finsh early enough we encorage you to visit some of the vendors at the Fly-In.

Ride will take place rain or shine!! Helmets must be worn!!
