Event Description
Whether you’re a road cyclist in top form, a weekend recreational rider, or a parent pulling two kids in a trailer, Eugene’s Blackberry bRamble is the ride for you. The Blackberry bRamble has long been known for its scenic route, extraordinary food at rest stops, reliable support and free blackberry pie and ice cream at the finish.
We are happy to announce our 20th Anniversary Blackberry bRamble bicycle ride to be held in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday, August 5th. The event includes a 100-mile Century, a 62-mile Metric Century, a 40 mile ride, and three community rides on local bike paths of 20, 10 and 5 miles. Riders will travel on portions of Lorane Highway, Wolf Creek, Territorial, Vaughn, Poodle Creek, Oregon State Highway 36, Lawrence, Alvadore and Clear Lake Roads. The bRamble rides include rest stops with snacks, lunch, water, SAG wagon support, maps, blackberry pie and ice cream at the end of the ride, and new for the 20th Anniversary, free dinner!
Ride Schedule
6:30 - 8:30 am - 100 mile Wolf Creek Century starts
7:30 – 9:00 am - 62 mile Poodle Creek Metric Century starts
7:45 –10:00 am - 40 mile Orchard Point Loop starts
11:00 am - 5, 10 and 20 mile Community Rides start (Map available soon)
Ride Details
All rides leave from the Hilyard Community Center. The bRamble rides include rest stops with snacks, lunch, water, SAG wagon support, maps, blackberry pie and ice cream at the end of the ride, and free dinner. All routes will close at 4:00 PM.
Breakfast 6:30 – 9:00 am
Fuel up before the ride. A continental breakfast will be available at the Hilyard Community Center.

Bike Celebration
Blackberry bRamble Post-Ride Celebration 12:00 – 5:00 pm
There will be a celebration in the afternoon at our Amazon Park start and finish line with live music, a burrito dinner, support from local businesses offering samples, games and prizes and a wine and beer garden. Tired, aching legs? Get relief at the massage booth. Looking for a deal? We’ll have a silent auction for you to browse and bid. There will also be children’s activities to keep the whole family entertained. After your ride relax with your fellow riders or cool off with a swim at Amazon Pool. We’ll have an MC, live music, and plenty of seating to rest and visit with others after your ride.
Group Discounts – Groups of 5 or more riders can get a discount of 10% per rider. Contact Mike Cantrell for a discount code.
Refund Policy – Full refunds will be given for cancellations until July 15, 2018. Half the registration fee will be refunded for cancelations from July 15, 2018 thru July 31, 2018. There will be no refunds given after July 31, 2018, except in exceptional circumstances.
GEARs members receive a 10% discount. Family pricing is available. Under 12 rider free on the community ride.
All rides include a Burrito Dinner, Pie and Ice Cream.
