Event Description
Join us at the 3rd XTERRA Trail Run at Castle Rock Colorado's beautiful Phillip S Miller Park. At an altitudes of 6,200 feet this trail run is invigorating, highlighting the freshly cut soft surface trails that are a part of the town’s largest ever park project. The trail race course will showcase the single and double track trails with impressive views of the surrounding scenic views of Castle Rock Colorado as the trail twists and winds over the flowing race course.
Choose from 5K, 10K and 20K distances. All runners will ascend to peaks offering spectacular views and all distances will include breathtaking single track trails. While experienced runners will enjoy the challenge and exploration of new territory, those new to the trails will also discover a whole new world of running where it is perfectly normal to walk the hills and save your energy for the flat and downhill sections. The event will be profesionally eimed and all finishers will receive custom finisher medals, custom shirts and cool swag.
Important note: All race ticket pricing include the processing fee. Unlike most events and what we have done in the past, we absorb fees rather than passing them along our attendees. Book early because the fees will go up a week prior to the race.

Cup-Free Racing! Surveys shows most runners dislike paper cups at race aid stations. That is why Xterra Trail Run Colorado Series have gone Cup-Free. That means less litter, trash, and waste.
Cup-Free Racing is Easy!
- Bring your favorite personal hydration device.hydration belt/flask, or any other refillable container
- Fill it at every aid station
- Drink, it's that easy...
We will be sending an email the week of your race with the number of aid stations. All aid stations will have both Gatorade and water. PowerBar Gel will also be available on course.
We do not have any time limits in place for the trail run events. That being said, we do encourage anyone planning to walk the entire course to avoid participating in the longest distance of the day. This August race is held in hot climate, and we do not want our athletes or volunteers out on the course too long. That being said, you are certainly able to walk during an event if you need to. There will always be an XTERRA team member waiting until the last runner is off the course.

Saturday: Packet pick-up and registration, Saturday August 4th at the Philip S. Miller Park from 11:00am to 4:00pm,
