HUNTINGTON BICYCLE CLUB GOLD COAST TOUR

The Huntington Bicycle Club Gold Coast Tour has been a revered North Shore cycling event, now in its 36th year. Our various bicycle routes wind their way along the beautiful and historic North Shore of Long Island from Great Neck to Huntington. The Long Island Gold Coast, as it was called, was a favorite retreat of the rich and famous. Starting at about the turn of the 20th century and through the 1930’s, the North Shore was a virtual Who’s Who of High Society. From the Astors to the Vanderbilts, this was THE place to be for some of the most notable Americans. The mansions constructed during that period numbered in the hundreds. The Gold Coast Tour draws cyclists of all ages and ability levels from Long Island as well as NYC, New Jersey and Connecticut.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Kids Need More Camp Adventure and to The Lustgarten Foundation

KiDS NEED MoRE

In 1990, a group of concerned parents created a camping experience for their children diagnosed with cancer and their siblings. Camp Adventure now serves the east coast and tri-state area. It remains one of the only camps of its kind to serve child cancer patients and siblings.

The Lustgarten Foundation, whose mission is to advance the scientific and medical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer. In memory of Howie Ebert, our fallen friend.
