Event Description

The 4th annual Fabulous Faith 5K is a fun and competitive race in beautiful Katherine Rose Memorial Park in Mansfield Texas. Trees from the property’s original pecan orchard provide shade as runners complete the USATF certified course that winds along scenic Walnut Creek, and returns to the main pavilion area for a rousing finish. This is a family friendly event and prerace activities include a touching dove release to honor Faith Rose and all children affected by cancer.
 
All proceeds and donations from the race are used to accomplish the mission of Fabulous Faith's Foundation, which is to end suffering caused by pediatric cancer by funding  childhood cancer research and facilites, and families affected by this disease, while promoting awareness and a hope that a cure will be found.

Event details and schedule

Online Registration closes at noon on 9/21/2018. You can register in person at the Runner in Arlington (3535 W. Pioneer Pkwy) until 6pm on Friday, or at the event on Saturday 9/22 at Katherine Rose Memorial Park, Mansfield. Plan additional time for parking. There are some parking spaces available in Rose Park, however, there is plenty of parking across the street at Hardy Allmon Soccer Complex and at RL Anderson Stadium on Magnolia Street. Please use the pedestrian tunnel that passes under Walnut Creek to enter the park. There is not a protected crosswalk available above ground.

7:30 am Pre-Race Activities and Dove Release

8 am Fun Run

8:30 am 5K

9:30 am Awards

11:00 am After Party at Twisted Root Burger Co. 109 S Main St, Mansfield. Come eat and relax after the race. Don't forget to drop your receipt in the donation jars by the cash registers, so that a portion of food sales can benefit Fabulous Faith's Foundation.
